PERFECT PAINT SHADE, HELLO YELLOW

HELLO YELLOW

Yellow Shade Painting

From salt lemon to hot mustard, there’s nothing like yellow to lift the spirits and lighten the mood. Let the sunshine in with:
- Pale Yellow:
Pale shades such as lemon and sunburst are a fabulous fix for poky rooms. Because there are mixed with white (the most reflective color), they generate oodles of light and make space appear bigger. Take care not to go too light, though, or it could look insipid.
- Butter:
A true primary color, butter look fabulous in country kitchen teamed with blond wood and blue and white china. Got a dark attic or room without a window? Experts say a butter ceiling can add as much light to a room as a skylight.
 - Straw:
With hints of black and white, straw is a safe hue for the living room or bedroom where bolder yellows might be overwhelming. Because it’s a natural shade, it works well with timber floors, sisal matting or pale wool carpets.
